The Science

Formulated by gastroenterologists.
Guided by evidence.

A closer look at how we formulated LIST/OF, from ingredient research and clinical reasoning to quality standards and daily-use design.

Board-Certified Gastroenterologists 6+ clinically studied ingredients

Our standard

The supplement industry has a trust problem.

Most people do not need more supplement clutter. They need a clearer way to understand what they are taking, why it is there, and how it fits into a daily routine.

That was the standard behind LIST/OF: less noise, more intention, and a formula built to make sense beyond the front of the label.

01
Clinician Perspective

Formulated by gastroenterologists with a daily understanding of digestive health.

02
Evidence-Led Ingredients

Selected based on research, clinical reasoning, and a clear role in the formula.

03
Purposeful Dosing

Designed around meaningful daily amounts, not ingredient trends.

04
No Filler Thinking

Every ingredient was chosen with restraint, intention, and a clear reason to belong.

Our filter

“The formula started with a question: what actually belongs?

/ Evidence first

Before an ingredient made the formula, it had to make sense: in the research, in the dose, and in the daily ritual.

/ No fillers

A focused formula means knowing what to leave out. Every ingredient was chosen for a clear role in daily gut support.

/ Transparency

Clear ingredients, clear purpose, and a formula designed to be understood beyond the front of the label.

What it supports

Four systems. One daily ritual.

Gut health is not one thing. It is the interplay of fiber, bacteria, motility, and the gut-brain axis. LIST/OF was designed to support all four together, not one piece at a time.

Fiber and regularity
01
/ Fiber & Regularity

Soluble fibers help support stool form, digestive rhythm, and more predictable regularity. The foundation of a steady daily gut routine.

Microbiome balance
02
/ Microbiome Balance

Targeted probiotics help support the microbial ecosystem that plays a central role in everyday digestive health.

Motility and comfort
03
/ Motility & Comfort

Botanicals like ginger, peppermint, and kiwifruit were selected to support digestive comfort and healthy gut movement without harsh stimulant laxatives.

Gut-brain axis
04
/ Gut-Brain Axis

The gut and brain are in constant communication. L-theanine and green tea extract help make LIST/OF a more complete daily ritual for gut and nervous-system support.

The formula

Four building blocks.
Every one has a reason.

Every ingredient has a job. Every dose is intentional. Nothing made the formula without earning its place.

What it is

PHGG and organic acacia fiber, two well-studied soluble prebiotic fibers selected for their role in daily digestive health.

Why we included it

Prebiotic fiber helps support regularity, stool consistency, and a healthy gut environment. Gentle, well-tolerated, and easy to make part of a daily routine.

What it supports

Regularity, digestive rhythm, a less bloated feel, and nourishment for beneficial gut bacteria.

What it is

Bifidobacterium lactis and Lactobacillus plantarum, two well-studied probiotic strains selected for their role in digestive health.

Why we included it

Fiber sets the foundation, but probiotics add another layer of daily gut support. These strains were chosen to complement the prebiotic fibers for a balanced gut microbiome.

What it supports

Microbial balance, digestive comfort, regularity, and daily gut function.

What it is

A targeted blend of kiwifruit, ginger, and peppermint, chosen for their complementary roles in gut comfort and motility.

Why we included it

These botanicals add the comfort layer to LIST/OF, helping support the everyday sensations people notice most: fullness, heaviness, bloating, and digestive rhythm.

What it supports

Everyday digestive comfort, a less bloated feel, digestive rhythm, and post-meal lightness.

What it is

A gut-brain support pairing featuring L-theanine and green tea extract, selected to support a more centered daily rhythm.

Why we included it

Gut health is not just about digestion. L-theanine and green tea extract add a mind-gut support layer to the formula, helping connect digestive comfort with how your day feels.

What it supports

Gut-brain balance, everyday comfort, and a complete gut ritual.

Beyond digestion

Your gut has a nervous system.
We formulated for it.

The enteric nervous system, sometimes called the “second brain,” contains hundreds of millions of neurons and communicates with the brain through the gut-brain axis.

That connection changes how we think about daily gut support. Digestion does not happen in isolation; it is shaped by rhythm, routine, stress, and the signals moving between the gut and brain. LIST/OF was formulated with that bigger picture in mind.

Founder standard

Built by the doctors who see
what doesn’t work every day.

As board-certified gastroenterologists, we spent years watching patients arrive having already cycled through every supplement on the shelf. The bloating didn’t go away. The irregularity persisted. And the formulas they were using — when we looked at them — were exactly what we’d expect: underdosed, blend-hidden, and built around ingredient trends rather than clinical evidence.

We built LIST/OF because the product we would have recommended to our patients didn’t exist.
